…. and in with the new!

We just had a new CNC lathe delivered a couple of weeks ago. A brand spanking shiney new DMG to replace our 5 year old Colchester.

It doesn’t do anything any different to the old one but it’s just new with a more modern control. I like to get rid of machinery when they get to 5 years old so that there is a fairly decent amount of money still left in it to go down as a healthy deposit toward the new one – it takes the sting out of it a bit as well.
